Studies by the Barna Group show that nearly half of all Americans who claim a personal relationship with Christ made that decision before the age of thirteen. So, we're pretty passionate about teaching kids what it means to know Christ. We believe that every child is created by God on purpose with purpose and seek to provide the very best environment for them to learn that truth. Every Week

Sunday School is offered for K5 - 6th grades at 9:00am 1st - 5th grades meet in the Kidz for Christ building while Kindergarten and 6th grade meet in the main building. Our teachers are gifted at leading children to a greater understanding of God's love. In fact, we like to think they're some of the best around! So drop by the Welcome Desk or the KFC building and we'll help you find your class.

Worship KidStyle is a fun-filled, exciting way for kids K-3rd grade to learn what God teaches about worship away from the "big church" environment. While we believe it is important for children to worship with their parents, we also feel they should be exposed to the gospel in a way that relates to their learning style. Worship KidStyle meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month in the chapel and is dismissed from the Worship Center during the Morning Worship service.

KIDMO Choirs meet each Sunday evening at 6:00. Kids preschool through 6th grade have the oppotuniry to worship through song and drama. The 1-6 grade Kidmo Choir are also worship leaders on the first Sunday evening of each month when families get together for Family Worship Explosion!

Kid Connection is our mid-week programming for children. KidConnection meets on Wednesdays at 6pm in the KFC and the Lower Level Children's Hall.

  • 1st - 4th grades | Using Lifeway's Bible Skills, Drills and Thrills, we seek to create an

    • environment in which your child can begin to form a solid foundation in God's Word. Games,

    music and crafts are all a part of this awesome time of learning about God's love for us and His

    plan for our lives

  • Kindergarten | Kindergarten kids get to experience AWANA cubbies this year each Wednesday from 6:00-7:00. They will learn and grow and make friends as they hide God's Worf in their hearts.
  • 5th/6th grade | To say these are pivotal years is an understatement. We realize our preteens are no longer kids and not yet youth. Our seperate fifth & sixth grade department offers a high energy learning environment that is biblcally sound and relevant to our students. We are careful to protect the intergrity of the Bible while meeting the needs of our incredible young people.

    • Events

    Summer Camp offers a unique opportunity for kids to worship Jesus through songs, Bible application, drama and prayer. All that learning is wrapped up in great fun with games, food and so much more!

    Vacation Bible School is one of the most important events in the children's ministry at Towering Oaks. It exposes a huge number of children to God's gift of salvation who may never hear about it otherwise. It takes hundreds of volunteers to make VBS a success so come join us!
