You never get a second chance to be a kid... and at Towering Oaks, we like to think that there's no time like the present to start teaching those kids about God's love. That's why the Preschool Ministry exists. Our goal is to model the love of Christ to each preschooler and parent who enters our doors. We aim to meet the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each child in way that they can understand and relate to. So, come find out what being a child of the King is all about! Every Week

Sunday School happens every Sunday morning in age appropriate classes. Stories, activities, and crafts are used to support the Bible lesson. Our teachers are committed to one-year terms to increase continuity in the child-teacher relationship.

AWANA is our Wednesday night program geared toward teaching preschoolers about who God is and how they can know Him. We will do Puggles for 2 & 3 year olds, Cubbies for those children who are 4 years of age and Sparks for those in kindergarten. For more information click here!

Extended Session provides programming for preschoolers during "big church." We understand that it's difficult to coax a three-year-old to sit still for ten seconds to wipe their nose. Now, imagine and hour and a half with no Sesame Street or Veggie Tales to quell the madness. Our workers do their best to ensure that a visit to the "nursery" doesn't necessarily entail all the kicking and screaming.

Events

Vacation Bible School is one of the most important event in the preschool ministry at Towering Oaks. It exposes a huge number of children to God's gift of salvation who may never hear about it otherwise. It also takes hundreds of people to make VBS a success, so we'd love to have you get plugged in.
