students
It's been said that students are the future of the church. We believe they are the present. In light of that, we gear everything we do to equipping young believers - teaching students to know, love and follow Christ now, not twenty years from now. We aren't here for their entertainment, though we do lots of fun stuff. We aren't here to perpetuate their social lives, though relationships are a huge part of what we do. We are here to encourage them not only to know Christ but also to tell others about that love. We challenge students to take the message of the gospel to their homes, their schools, their soccer teams and their cheer squads. Student ministry is for grades 7-12 and meets in the underGround.
Every Week
On Sunday mornings, Collision is the best of both worlds. We start out in a large group to learn about the Scripture and topic for that week. Then, we break out into grade-specific groups for fellowship and discussion. Collision is the best place to build relationships with other students and our awesome leadership.
Student Services On Wednesdays at 6:00 students meet together for a high-energy time specifically designed to meet them where they are. Music, videos, testimonies, drama, games and other avenues of communication are used to draw their attention and minister to their needs. A relevant, engaging message is given to encourage and remind students that their Creator God loves them, has a plan for them and desires the very best for them.
